Online Event Registration System
Frisco Lakes now utilizes an event registration system called Active Net which
allows residents to register and pay for events and view facilities from a computer,
tablet or smart phone. We encourage all residents to begin using this system to
view and/or register for community events.
When signing onto Active Net, your email address will be your Logon ID. If you had
an email address listed in our previous registration system (prior to August 2016),
that email was transferred to the new system and you already have an account in
Active Net. You will just need to click on Forgot Your Password in order to create a
new password for your account. If we did NOT have an email address for you in
our old system, you will need to click on Create New Account in order to set up

Golf Cart Rules
Officer Colby Hill of the Frisco Police Department provided the following
information on the use of golf carts within Frisco Lakes and outside our
By city ordinance, golf carts can be driven on city streets with a speed limit of 35
mph or less, as long as they meet the following criteria:
- The driver must have a valid driver's license.
- The driver must have insurance for the golf cart.
- The golf cart must have headlamps, tail lamps, reflectors, and a
slow-moving vehicle emblem.
- The golf cart must have mirrors and a parking brake.
Golf carts cannot be driven on roads that have speed limits higher than 35 mph,
but they can cross such roads. Golf carts cannot be driven on sidewalks (other
than golf course paths designated for golf carts).
